Biospecs: A STEM Summer Camp for Newcomer Youth

Start Date
End Date
A science-and-health-focused summer camp designed by Prospective Medical Professionals (PuMP).

About Biospecs

Biospecs is a science-and-health-focused summer camp for newcomer youth. This weekend camp will consist of group research projects, guest speaker talks on career planning, and hands-on workshops and experiments. To ensure accessibility for all, the program will be delivered free of charge. By providing an introduction to topics like the brain, medical technology, and scientific communication – facilitated by professionals and/or professional school students in healthcare – we hope to spark newcomer youth's curiosity in STEM and grow exposure to scientific fields that might be of interest to them.
