How Do I Pay for an Eye Doctor and Glasses?

• Younger than 20 years old? These services are covered by OHIP. They will pay for one eye exam per year. OHIP also covers new frames and lenses, every 3 years. They also pay for repairs and replacements for your glasses and lenses.
• Older than 20 years old? This service is not covered by OHIP. If you are getting Ontario Works then you may be able to get glasses and eye exams every 2 years through the program.
